Ricoh SP-2240 Document Scanner

40ppm Scanning Speed & 80 Sheet ADF

The SP-2240 helps users finish scanning tasks in a short time without stress, with its 40 ppm (A4 colour, duplex 200 / 300 dpi) performance. The automatic document feeder (ADF) holds up to 80 sheets at a time, and the scanning speed is maintained even at 300 dpi.

Simple and Easy-to-use Operation

Operation is also simple with only two button to push , Scan/Stop and Power On/Off. Its minimal design reduces risk of human error.

Accurate Feeding Ability

The scanner handles a wide range of paper from thin to thick up to 216 x 360 mm in size, and weighing from 27gsm to 413 gsm., as well as plastic cards to suit all scanning needs. Operators need not worry about unexpected interruptions, rescans, or damaged documents.

Scan To Cloud

When connected to a PC running next generation PaperStream ClickScan, documents can be scanned and sent directly to the cloud with a single touch, no interaction with the PC is required. PaperStream ClickScan also provides ad-hoc scan-then-save creation of editable Word, Excel or PowerPoint documents.

DirectScan Functionality

For PC-free operation, the latest and most advanced DirectScan functionality enables multiple users to scan directly to 3 pre-programmed destinations via the buttons on the scanner. Embedded OCR functionality within the iiGA SoC means searchable PDFs can be instantly created without the need for a PC.

Compact Design

The SP-2240 is compact in size, so it can be used at the desk or at reception where space is limited. Even with its compact size, it is equipped with a brake roller to accurately separate each page, and an ultra-sonic sensor to accurately detect multifeed, so the user can scan without worrying about potential problems.
