Minimising maintenance time

Daily cleaning mode allows users to be sure of correct cleaning of glass surfaces and rollers to give them a longer life. The front of the scanner opens up wide and LED lighting illuminates the inner workings of the scanner, making access to maintain or clean these areas quick and easy.

Robust, reliable engineering

To prevent breakdowns, fi-7800 & fi7900 scanners have a metal plated paper path meaning no damage from paper friction, unlike resin surfaces. A ball bearing structure balances the load on the shaft, giving the scanner longevity and maximising productivity.

PaperStream IP

The fi-7900 comes bundled with PaperStream IP, an integrated scanner driver and image enhancement module that is built on TWAIN/ISIS standards offering user friendly operability, intuitive high quality image creation and real time processing that will benefit post scan routines like OCR.

PaperStream Capture

Also bundled is PaperStream Capture which is an easy to use capture tool which allows users to easily create batch scanning profiles which encapsulate all of the settings and configuration required to control the scanning process from scan, to the release of the image to the users normal work flow. Once created, batch profiles can be run by a single click or can be linked to scanner front panel buttons to streamline the whole capture process.

PaperStream Capture Pro

Work better, faster and smarter with the optional PaperStream Capture Pro a user friendly, end-to-end capture solution and optimise your information capture, data consolidation and routing of paper-based information into digitally-accelerated processes. PaperStream Capture Pro is a scanning, verifying, extracting and releasing software that enables you to digitise your paper based data in order to optimise your information flow and knowledge sharing.
