Canon imageFORMULA CR-120 Cheque and vouchers scanner. Its small footprint makes it great for confined spaces, and it can process 120 cheques per minute – 12,000 per day – and also perform colour scans of ID and bank cards.
The CR-120 scanner employ precise magnetic ink character recognition (MICR) to read code line data, and also capture grey-scale images of both sides of each cheque. Powerful OCR software then reads the characters from the scanned image and cross-check them using a unique algorithm to ensure maximum accuracy.

Despite a small footprint occupying minimum desk space, the scanner can read up to 120 cheques per minute from a feeder tray that can hold a maximum of 150 cheques.

Smart UV scanning
Built-in ultraviolet sensors on the CR-120 UV are able to authenticate anti-fraud logos in cheques, and can highlight surface rubbing that might indicate tampering.
Colour ID card scanning
The CR-120 includes a slot where plastic cards – ID or banking – can be scanned in colour, enabling bank tellers to quickly verify and record customers’ identities.
A built in imprinter enables quick and easy print endorsement - up to five lines of 60 characters and bitmaps - on the back of cheques while they’re being scanned.
